System Profile Settings

Use this window to control the power management settings.

NOTE: This help page may include information about features and values not supported by your system. Server Administrator only displays the features and values that are supported on your system.

NOTE: For more details on user privilege levels, see "Privilege Levels in the Server Administrator GUI."

NOTE: Based on available hardware, dependencies may exist between the various attributes for settings. For example, setting a attribute value may change the state of the dependent attributes to non-editable or editable, as the case may be. For example, changing the System Profile setting to Custom allows you to configure all the other related settings in that page.

System Profile

Sets the System Profile to Performance Optimized, Power Optimized (DAPC), Power Optimized (OS), Dense Configuration Optimized, or Custom mode. When set to a mode other than Custom, BIOS will set each option accordingly. When set to Custom, you can change setting of each option.

CPU Power Management

Sets the CPU Power Management to Maximum Performance, OS DBPM, or System DBPM (DAAPC) mode.

Memory Frequency

Sets the Memory Frequency as Maximum Performance, 1600Mhz, 1333MHz, 1067MHz, 800MHz, or Maximum Reliability.

Turbo Boost

When set to Enabled, the processor can operate in Turbo Boost Mode.

C1E

Enabled	The processor is allowed to switch to minimum performance state when idle.
Disabled	The system disables the turbo mode capability of the processor.

C States

When set to Enabled, the processor can operate in all available Power States.

Memory Patrol Scrub

Sets the Memory Patrol Scrub frequency as Standard Mode, or Extended Mode.

Memory Refresh Rate

Sets the Memory Refresh Rate as 1x or 2x.

Memory Operating Voltage

Sets the DIMM voltage selection.

Auto (default)	The system automatically sets the system Voltage to the optimal setting based upon the DIMM capability and the installed DIMM population.
1.5V	Enables setting the system DIMM voltage to a higher (1.5V) setting if the DIMMs support multiple voltages and have been Auto set to a lower voltage.

Other Window Controls

	Prints a copy of the open window to your default printer.
	Saves a text file containing the contents of this window (the values of each data field separated by a customizable delimiter) to a destination you specify.
	E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server.
	Updates the screen with latest information.
	Displays the online help for this page.
